Dental Hygiene Directors and Faculty,

Please join us for our first virtual meeting on January 29-30th 2021.

The Director’s Meeting will be hosted on Friday January 29th from 3:30-7:00 pm.

“Night at the Rounds.” will be hosted for All faculty on Friday January 29th from 4:00-6:00 pm. There is no fee or CEU’s offered for “Night at the Rounds” but each member will need to register for the “Round Table” topic of interest and will receive a Zoom link to join one week prior to the meeting. There will be an opportunity to send in questions to the topic facilitator prior to the meeting to ensure all faculty’s questions are being addressed and answered.

This engaging meeting will be facilitated by DH faculty from different schools and the Round Table Topics will include:

  • • New Faculty
  • • Junior Clinic
  • • Senior Clinic
  • • Pain Management
  • • Radiology

We have planned an exciting (3) unit CE session for you on Saturday from 8:00am until 1:00 pm. We will start off with Heidi Coggan, CDHA’s President bringing us updates and segue into an engaging and informative presentation by Noel Kelsch, RDHAP, MS with “I Didn’t Know That: Infection Control for Dental Hygiene Schools-2020 and Beyond.” During the presentation our wonderful corporate vendors will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and give some great product updates that could benefit our programs and efficiency with the current COVID-19 crisis. We will then wrap up with the Pam Hughes Scholarship (PHS) recipients, “Where are They Now?”

This year there will be no host school but we will continue with a host school for our 2022 annual meeting in San Jose.

Membership dues are $100 and registration for the CE course will be $50. All members can contribute to Pam Hughes Professionalism Scholarship fund by kindly giving a donation. This will replace the annual raffle fundraiser for 2021.

Membership and Registration deadline is: January 15, 2021

Looking forward to spending time with all of you,

Lori McDonald
President, CDHEA
